_May the sun bring you new energy by day, may the moon softly restore you by night. May the rain wash away your worries, may the breeze blow new strength into your being. May you walk gently through the world and know its beauty all the days of your life_.--Apache Blessing

Hello, my friend!
With a chill in the air and Halloween behind us, I've been hunkering down a bit more, slowing my pace and settling into fall. This is my favorite time of year.
We're living in a time of great transformation, with so much happening in the world and within each of us. We are learning to let go of what's no longer useful to make room for new ways, new ideas, new plans. With the sun in Scorpio, this is a time that asks us to go deep, to till and cultivate our inner gardens and look closely at the things in our unconscious/subconscious that can be rooted out and discarded so we can plant new seeds and dreams. Finishing up the Quest, my latest program to create more energy, alignment and transformation our lives has been a great teacher for me, showing me things I am letting go of to create space for all that is coming. And it's been great fun hearing about the "aha!" moments participants have been having!
I recently listened to a talk by the amazing Caroline Myss (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KysuBl2m_w). In it, she spoke about the three levels of power that we have which are common ingredients in our health. They are:
**1) Our own personal honor in life and body.**
**2) Learning and practicing forgiveness. As human beings, we are ALL deserving of self-compassion and self-forgiveness.**
**3) Faith. Life is a mystery and we don’t need to try to solve the mysteries but roll with them. Instead of asking “why,” we can ask “what can I learn?”**
Since I was young, I have been a quiet observer of the great mysteries of life, of things unseen that live alongside us every day. My work in anthropology and the healing arts stemmed from a desire to explore these mysteries and uncover the truth of things. For me, there's always something new to learn and understand. Understanding what makes us well, vital and strong. Understanding that we all have a particular, specific path and that no two paths are alike; like snowflakes. Understanding that our faith has the power to transform our health and our lives. Understanding there is much more to this world than the eye can see.
As a teenager, I learned that when I changed my junk filled diet to a healthy one, I felt better. When I spend time in nature, practice yoga, talk with a friend or meditate I feel more hopeful, peaceful and open. I learned that in trying to understand my own dualistic nature, the light and the dark side, whichever side I focus on is what I feel more of. I learned that through forgiveness, I could let go of the past and move forward unburdened. And I learned when I became a mother, that the only two things I can truly control are: 1) how I prepare for things and 2) how I respond to things.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want you to know that I am grateful for you. When I studied ancient shamanic cultures in anthropology and spent time with my friends at Taos Pueblo, I learned they believed every day was Thanksgiving. They were grateful for all living things, for all is connected in the web of life. They focused on their greatest visions and dreams for the future and not what wasn't working in their lives. Their focus was on peace and harmony. I am grateful for your commitment to your growth and health because I believe it's through the healing of every individual that we heal the world.
**Call to action**
_What is working in your life?_
_What are your greatest visions, hopes and dreams for the future?_
_What areas of your life are calling for a change?_
I'd love to hear, so let me know. :)
